Absolutely! The PTA exam covers content that is very similar to the PT exam—the only real differences are in scope of practice, such as the ability to discharge a patient or make a medical diagnosis.

That means you still need to know the same foundational material in musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular, and other systems. Our courses break down these topics step by step, helping you understand why the content makes sense instead of just memorizing facts. That deeper understanding is what makes studying “click” and leads to better retention on exam day.

Both courses are accessible for 120 days (4 months), perfectly tailored for the 4x/year the NPTE is offered (January, April, July, October).

I recommend studying no earlier than 4 months prior to your NPTE exam date. How much information can you realistically retain from anytime >4 months ago?
